Ypres, Belgium ‐ Jun 9, 2020

The 3rd battle of Ypres, was one of the battles of Flanders fields. the 50th and the 51st battalions fought in the battle, while the 49th and the 52nd battalions were there for support. Australian forces incurred 38,000 casualties. The combined total of British and Dominion casualties has been estimated at 310,000 and no breakthrough was achieved.The French Army suffered around 8,500 casualties, German losses remain controversial.

The end of the German retreat down Hindenburg Line. The French took 11,157 prisoners, but they lost 2,241 men, 8,162 French men were wounded and 1,460 French men got lost.
Arras ‐ Mar 1, 1917

Where the battalion was involved to start pushing the germans down the Hindenburg Line. (It actually started somewhere in-between February and March but i just said March) In the 39 days of fighting in the battle of arras, 300,000 men on both sides were killed.
Noreuil ‐ Apr 2, 1917

Was were the 50th and the 51st battalions where attacked at Noreuil with the 52nd and the 49th battalion as support. Noreuil is the southern end to the battle or Arras. 130 Australians died in this battle and many more injured.
